Pharmacy software for billing, stock, purchases and accounts.
Bizzilo One is pharmacy software for medical stores and chemist chains. It bills at the counter by the strip, counts stock batch by batch with expiry dates, orders from distributors at reorder levels and keeps the accounts, all on one stock count and one ledger, so nothing is entered twice.

Running a pharmacy business
What slows a pharmacy down. And how Bizzilo One handles each one.
The problem
Expired medicines found on the shelf
Stock that expires unnoticed is money written off, and a strip sold past its date is a risk to the customer and the licence.
With Bizzilo One
Each purchase is received against a batch number and expiry date. Batches close to expiry are flagged in the stock ledger, so they are sold first or returned in time. Anything that does expire is written off with a reason code.
Batch tracking is part of the Accelerate and Scale plans.
Pharmacy inventory softwareThe problem
Bought by the box, sold by the strip
Distributors invoice in boxes and cartons while the counter sells strips, so stock counts drift apart.
With Bizzilo One
Unit conversions link the units: one box of ten strips, one carton of twenty boxes. Stock converts automatically on every purchase and sale, so the count on screen matches the shelf.
Pharmacy inventory softwareThe problem
Returns to distributors
Short-dated or damaged stock has to go back to the distributor with the right paperwork, or the credit never arrives.
With Bizzilo One
Raise a purchase return against the goods receipt. Bizzilo One issues the debit note and adjusts stock and the supplier's balance in the same step.
Pharmacy purchase management softwareThe problem
Month-end books from a shoebox of bills
Counter bills, distributor invoices and payments sit in different places, so GST filing means days of matching and re-typing.
With Bizzilo One
Every counter sale, goods receipt and payment posts to the same ledger as it happens. GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B are prepared from those books and filed directly.
Bizzilo AccountingThe problem
Regular customers who pay monthly
Chronic-care customers and nearby clinics often settle at month end, and the notebook of dues is easy to lose.
With Bizzilo One
Sell on credit to named customers, with balances and due dates tracked and a credit limit that blocks sales above it.
Pharmacy billing software
Batch and expiry
Every strip, traced to its batch. Sell the oldest stock first.
When a distributor's delivery arrives, the goods receipt records the batch number and expiry date for each medicine. From then on, stock is counted batch by batch across the store and the storeroom.
Near-expiry flags
Batches approaching their expiry date are flagged in the stock ledger.
Returns in time
Short-dated batches go back to the distributor on a purchase return with a debit note.
Clean write-offs
Expired stock is adjusted out with a reason code, a user and a time stamp.

GST in India
GST for pharmacies. Rates set on each product, filed from the same books.
- Most medicines are at 5%
- Since 22 September 2025, most medicines are taxed at 5% and a list of life-saving drugs is exempt. Bandages, glucometers and test strips moved to 5% too.
- HSN codes on every invoice
- Products are mapped to their HSN code. Businesses up to ₹5 crore turnover show 4 digits on B2B invoices; above that, 6 digits on every invoice.
- File from Bizzilo One
- GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B are prepared from your sales and purchases and filed directly. B2B invoices above the e-invoicing threshold get their IRN from the IRP.
Rates checked on 26 September 2026. Rates change; confirm the rate for each product with your CA.
Frequently asked
Questions buyers ask. If yours isn't here, we'll answer it on the demo call.
Most medical stores use pharmacy software that combines counter billing with batch-wise stock, purchases from distributors and GST accounts. Bizzilo One does all four on one stock count and one ledger, so a sale, a goods receipt and a return each update stock and the books once.
Every purchase is received with its batch number and expiry date, and stock is counted batch by batch. Batches that are close to expiry are flagged in the stock ledger, so you can sell them first or return them to the distributor. Batch tracking is part of the Accelerate and Scale plans.
