Bizzilo One · Inventory
Pharmacy inventory software that counts every batch to its expiry date.
Bizzilo Inventory is pharmacy inventory software for medical stores and chemist chains. It counts every medicine batch by batch with its expiry date, flags batches close to expiry, sends short-dated stock back to the distributor with a debit note, and shows the stock of every store and storeroom in one place.

In the pharmacy storeroom
Where pharmacy stock goes missing. And how Bizzilo Inventory keeps count.
The problem
Short-dated batches noticed too late
A batch close to expiry is usually spotted when a customer points it out or at the yearly count, by which time it can no longer go back to the distributor.
With Bizzilo Inventory
Every goods receipt records the batch number and expiry date, and stock is counted batch by batch. Batches close to expiry are flagged in the stock ledger, so staff see what to sell first and what to send back while there is still time.
Batch tracking is part of the Accelerate and Scale plans.
The problem
Returns the distributor disputes
Expired and damaged stock waits in a carton with a handwritten list, and when the credit finally comes it rarely matches what went back.
With Bizzilo Inventory
Raise a purchase return against the original goods receipt, for the exact batch and quantity. Stock comes down, a debit note is raised for the value and the distributor's balance is updated in the same step.
The problem
Breakage and write-offs with no record
A cracked syrup bottle or a crushed strip is thrown away, and the loss only shows up as a gap at stock-taking.
With Bizzilo Inventory
Record it as a stock adjustment with a reason code. Each adjustment keeps the batch, the quantity, the user and the time, so every write-off can be explained later.
The problem
Two stores and a storeroom, three different counts
A customer asks for a medicine that is out at one branch, and finding out whether the other branch has it means a phone call and a guess.
With Bizzilo Inventory
Each store and the storeroom are locations on one stock ledger. A stock enquiry shows how much of a medicine each location holds, batch by batch, and a sale at either counter updates the count at once.
Plans include one to five stores and one to five warehouses, with packs to add more.
The problem
Fast movers that run out on a Sunday
Common medicines for fever, acidity and diabetes sell every hour, and nobody notices the shelf is low until a customer is turned away.
With Bizzilo Inventory
Set a reorder level on each medicine. When stock reaches it, Bizzilo Inventory drafts a purchase order to your distributor at the price on their price list, ready for you to approve.
Batch and expiry
Every batch recorded on arrival. From the goods receipt to the last strip.
When the distributor's delivery arrives, receive it against the purchase order. The goods receipt records the batch number and expiry date for each medicine, and a quantity and quality check sets aside anything damaged in transit as a rejection, so only saleable stock reaches the shelf.
Distributors invoice in boxes and cartons while the counter sells strips. Unit conversions link the two, so twenty boxes of ten strips arrive as two hundred strips of that batch, and every sale takes stock down in strips.
From then on the stock ledger shows how many strips of each batch remain and where they are: the Velachery counter, the Adyar counter or the storeroom. Nothing depends on someone reading the date printed on the carton.
Captured on receipt
Batch number and expiry date on every goods receipt line.
Checked before stock
Damaged or wrong items are set aside as rejections.
Counted by batch
Stock for each batch, in the unit you sell, at each location.
Batch tracking is part of the Accelerate and Scale plans. Unit conversions are on every plan.
| Medicine | Batch · expiry | Accepted |

Near expiry and returns
Sell it first or send it back. Before the date decides for you.
Batches close to their expiry date are flagged in the stock ledger. For each one you decide what happens next: move it to the front of the shelf, return it to the distributor while they will still accept it, or, if it has expired, write it off.
A return goes back against the goods receipt it came in on, so the batch, the quantity and the purchase price are already known. Bizzilo Inventory raises the debit note and reduces the distributor's balance, and debit note approvals let the owner check returns before they leave the store.
Expired, broken or recalled stock that is not going back is adjusted out with a reason code. Each adjustment keeps the batch, the user and the time, so the stock ledger explains every strip that left without a bill.
Near-expiry flags
Short-dated batches stand out in the stock ledger.
Returns by batch
Purchase returns against the goods receipt, with a debit note.
Write-offs with a reason
Expired or broken stock adjusted out with user and time.
| Medicine | Batch · reason | Value |
|---|---|---|
| Amoxicillin 500 mg × 9 strips | AX-2311 · near expiry | ₹738.00 |

Stores and reordering
One stock ledger for every branch. And orders that start themselves.
Add each store and the storeroom as a location. Stock is counted in each place, batch by batch, and a stock enquiry answers the counter's everyday question: is it here, and if not, which branch has it.
Set reorder levels for each medicine. When stock reaches the level, a purchase order is drafted to the distributor at the price on their price list. Approve it, send it, and receive the delivery against it; if the distributor sends less than you ordered, the balance stays open as a back order.
Staff sign in with their own login, and roles decide who can receive goods, adjust stock or approve a return.
Stores and storeroom

Reorder levels
Purchase orders drafted at the distributor's price.
Staff roles
Only the right people receive, adjust or return stock.

Pharmacy inventory software keeps count of every medicine a pharmacy holds, batch by batch, with expiry dates, across its stores and storeroom. Bizzilo Inventory records batches on the goods receipt, flags batches close to expiry, handles returns to distributors and drafts purchase orders at reorder levels.
Record the batch and expiry of every delivery, count stock in the unit you sell, check near-expiry batches every week, return short-dated stock while the distributor still accepts it, write off breakage with a reason, and set reorder levels on your fast movers. Bizzilo Inventory keeps each of these steps on one stock ledger.
Batches close to their expiry date are flagged in the stock ledger, so you can see which strips to sell first and which to return to the distributor. Batch tracking is part of the Accelerate and Scale plans.
